I don’t know who it was that decided to call it the “Funny Bone,” but they obviously didn’t have any sort of medical training whatsoever. ”FUNNY” bone?! The only person who thinks it’s funny when you hit it is the person watching you flail like a retarded squid! I’ve heard it refered to as the “crazy” bone from time to time, and I’ll buy that, but I believe the most accurate term for it is the “owie” bone.
Why?
I don’t know about you, but the only thing I’m ever able to eek out of my mouth short of cries reminicent to those of a 6-year-old girl is “OWIE!”
i think they call it funny bone cos it feels ‘funny’..not like when you hit yourself elsewhere. i’m always saying, ‘i hit my funny bone, and it isn’t funny!’ lol i’ll stop rambling now.
